Okay, I'm gonna start out with some specs:
Processor: i5 4690k @4Ghz
CPU Fan: Hyper 212 Evo
Graphics Card: GTX 970 Windforce 3x edition
Motherboard: MSI Z97s SLI Karait edition
RAM: 8Gb 1600Mhz
PSU: Thermaltake SMART 650w Power Supply (Don't ask why I bought a janky psu, I am aware)
This is the issue (kinda) in demanding games such as fallout 4 and rust I will be able to run them at usually max settings, fallout 4 is at the max and rust is near the max (I'm aware rust is SUPER unoptimized). Both the games are able to run well above 60 fps mostly with the cpu running at 75% and the gpu at 100% in both games. When I switch over to another game such as cs:go or even dirty bomb my usage on both cpu and gpu WILL NOT go above even 50%, now I'm a performance junkie and I like TONS of fps buffer in my games, but cs:go at 160fps? really? I would like some more fps for a 144hz monitor. Is this something I CAN fix? Is this something I SHOULD fix? help me pls.
