Question Computer not working after swapping i3 for i5

I have swaped my i3 2120 to i5 3570, the pc shuts down right after i switch it on, i was thinking that it could be my older bios version (MB: GA-Z68P-DS3 rev. 1.0 with bios ver. F7) causing the problems, any suggestions ? Thanks!

That is the issue. You need version F9 for 3rd generation support. Put the I3 back in and update bios before putting the I5 back in
