[SOLVED] Computer not working after update, please help

I am using an HP Omen, windows 10. I just updated the pc and now every time it launches it takes forever to start up. When started and clicking on a profile the screen goes grey, and after signing in personal settings shows up with a black screen, and task manager stops responding. There is no way to get task manager to open, and it happens every time I restart the pc. I cant go back to the old version since I cant access task manager. How do I get this computer to work again? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this inside windows -

1. Press Win+I to open the Settings app.
2. Choose Update and Security.
3. Click the Update History link.
4. Click the Uninstall Updates link. ...
5. Choose the update you want to undo. ...
6. Click the Uninstall button that appears on the toolbar.

have you tried loading into safe mode?

On the login screen, click on the power button in bottom right of screen
while holding shift, click the restart button
PC will load into a blue screen at restart
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
click the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
Pc will restart and load safe mode

does it work in here? Problem with safe mode is settings don't work.
