Hi, I have recently gotten a new graphics card for my pc (GTX 1060) and have been having a problem with using dual monitors. One of them is connected with an hdmi cable, and the other with dvi. when I start my pc it only uses one monitor, and I went into display settings and it says that only the hdmi is connected. However, when I unplug the hdmi cable and turn on the pc, the dvi connected monitor works fine. Is there any way to fix this so that both monitors will work at the same time? (I do not have any other cables that will work for the monitors besides the hdmi and dvi.)

Solution
I don't know where you are from, but they sell them on amazon, and it's no expensive. I bought one back in June, and it works properly. I ordered one more monitor, and got the same cable for my triple monitor setup. Hope it helps - http://a.co/5uzPJTZ

Yeah I guess I'll just have to get a displayport to hdmi then. I was hoping there was a way to use what I currently have. And no, when I click detect nothing happens.

As user of a pascal GPU (GTX 1050 ti) I can tell you that Nvidia is having some troubles with the drivers, many users (like me) have reported low FPS and stuttering, I BELIEVE that there are probabilities that the problem is in the drivers
