Computer randomly shuts down with Graphic Card and case fan still running

So this started happening a couple of days ago.

What happens? : I would be randomly doing something on my PC (browsing etc.) and my monitor would go black, neither my Keyboard reacts nor my mouse, I check the Cabinet Power light and its ON, I opened the cabinet to find the problem and see that the Graphic Card fans still running as well as the case fan and case light.

Only solution to this is unplugging the PSU and re-plugging it again, but then again the fiasco happens again in a matter of 15-20 mins.

Are you on windows 10 by any chance?

PC has been fine for as long as i built it but it keep turning off black screen.

I'm on windows 8.1.

Your board and processor along with your PSU Seem legit. Have you tried your monitor on another computer?

Monitor is functional since it does display 'no signal' when the display cable is removed.

One of the detail I left out was that the graphic fans spin slowly when the pc sleeps

This is happening to me also. Display goes to sleep or it goes to sleep never to wake up yet PC is humming away as normal.

I took the card out and have had no problems since have concluded it is the card and will be replacing mine.
Win 7/10 64bit
