Question Computer shuts off with graphic card in

I just build a pc, it powers on without the graphics card in. it doesn't power on with it in. It powers on with the power cable pulled slightly out of the card, but shuts off once the tower is standing upright.
I have just replaced the psu, and the graphics card was from a previous build about 10 months ago. I need help figuring out what the problem is.
any movement cause it to power off.
