Yo last night I turned off my computer and when I woke up today and started it back up it didn't work. My keyboard and mouse didn't turn on and my monitor said something about no video input. So I tried to search for a solution and eventually came to know that one stick of ram suddenly stopped working. I've been using this kit for 2-3 months already with no issues at all.

Tried different combinations with the ram slots but no success, so now I'm only running with 16 gigs.

My ram kit > G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3600C17D-32GTZR

Has anyone experienced this before where your ram suddenly goes bad if yes what did you do? Contact the manufacturer or is there something wrong with my bios?

Thanks in advance.

(Motherboard: MAXIMUS IX FORMULA)

I have had RAM sticks go bad. They just go bad and stop working.

Almost always...they are out of any warranty that they had....so I just replace them.

I suppose it COULD be your BIOS....but the easiest way to find out that I can think of is to swap some different RAM in there.

Well my kit is only 3 months old and I got a lifetime warranty.

I also don't think its the bios because all I did was turn it off overnight and turn it on in the morning. Thats all I did.

I placed the working stick in all other dimms which worked just fine but the broken one couldnt be recognized. I contacted gskill already and they told me I need to fill in a RMA form. Really weird overall

Just filled out the RMA and sent it. I just hope that I don't have to send the whole kit back because that would leave me without a working computer.

Will post an update when they replied on the form.

Thanks for your time btw appreciate it.
