So I've been looking into creating a gaming build that should be able to last me for a couple of years with being able to play games on max 1080p settings and maybe 1440p gaming one day. There is a warning about the BIOS compdibility, however that motherboard BIOS can be updated without a CPU installed.

I would strongly recommend that you buy a RAM kit that is listed on the QVL for the motherboard you decide to purchase.
Way to many people have posted about not being able to get Corsair RAM kits to run at their full speed if they are not on the QVL.
