Computer using an insane amount of RAM

Hi there, so I have 8GB DDR4 RAM and today I noticed that my computer is using 80% of it's ram and I can't seem to track down what is chewing it up.

I looked under my Task Manager and nothing even adds up close to 80% only item I have changed is I installed a Anti malware program last night but on the task manager it was only using ~5% of my RAM. is there a software or windows service I can use to see my RAM usage in more detail?

Any advice would be great.

I am, and it's not adding up to what it is showing I am using.

No I didn't as it is my personal PC which only has one user account.

but please check as sometimes your network, local etc will be shown. i too have a single user system

Maybe you have a memory leak.Try update all the drivers by starting with the chipset from the motherboard after which the rest of the motherboard and then the gpu.

its normal ... we all got it . when you using some softwere gams , browser . the amount used by windows will be lower

This may sound silly, but how do I do that? are they all on the manufacturers website? or can windows auto detect them and download and install them

The best thing is going to the manufacturers websit and download the drivers for the motherboard there.
If you don't know what motherboard can you look via dxdiag or do the next,

Download hwinfo32,
http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html
open it,
click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
click save report at the left top,
in the next window at the bottom check=dot "short text report" after that next,you'll get to see what is in your pc.
