[SOLVED] Computer won’t boot - no ram installed

So I just built my first rig and I’m trying to get into the bios without the ram in because they haven’t come yet. My fans and Lee’s turn on but I can’t get power to the USB ports on the motherboard and I can’t get the pc to boot up or show anything on my monitor. Any ideas?

You cant boot without memory.

That makes sense to me. But why am I not getting any power to the USB ports on my motherboard? I have an LED keyboard that won’t turn on so I know it’s not getting any power.

USB ports aren't like the electric sockets in your house.

So should there not be power to them when I turn on my pc before booting?

Just wait for your ram to come in and then see if it boots. You wont really achieve anything by booting without it.
