This problem has been asked alot before, but none of the other answers have seemed to work. My graphics card is put in correctly and has the correct power cables. I have tried both PCI-E slots but no signal will come out when plugged into the graphics card. I can use the computer through the motherboard. I have tried multiple screens but nothing is working. I moved from a RX 480 but all the drivers and software for it have been removed, including all AMD related software i can find. Motherboard is on the latest version as well. The card lights up and the fans will spin as well. I cannot see my graphics card in device manager either which is weird. I have also set the default video out to be from the correct PCI-E slot

Specs:
I5 7600K
GTX 1080 MSI Gaming X Plus
8Gb kingston Ram
128GB SSD
750W PSU

Any recommendations will be appreciated

Strange. Are you sure all the cables are all plugged in properly? Something might've un-plugged? Check all the power ports.

You should also try un-plugging the computer, turning it on, then plug it back in and see if it works.
What this'll do is run a power cycle, flush out all the power in your computer and turning it back on should fix it.

If it still doesn't work, then I'm not really all sure what happened to your GPU while you were away.

I'm curious as to why this would be the problem? My RX480 seemed to work fine of this power supply?

No I sold it to take advantage of the price rise. I was using it for the last 6 months without a problem though

Judging from your power supply, it's highly likely it's a power supply issue.
You see, the GTX 1080Ti uses more power then the RX 480 does.
Your RX 480 was likely just passing by judging from what your PSU is, but with the 1080Ti it just can't do it (because it uses more power)

If you want to use that 1080Ti at all, you'll have to invest in a new Power supply.

I'd highly recommend these one though -

Alright, I have a new power supply coming today. I will get back to you guys after I install it. Thanks for the feedback.

Changing the power supply didn't seem to help. The fans and LEDs still come on but nothing is different.

This was the psu I got yesterday to try with but to no avail

Pretty good quality one that you got, but if that doesn't fix the issue then I'd say you have a faulty GPU. Did it ever work before this? If not, then yea. You have a faulty GPU and likely need to get it RMA'd.

It's good that you got a new power supply though, because the one you had was EXTREMELY poor quality. I'm surprised your computer hasn't totally fried yet.

Yeah, I've decided to keep this power supply as well, the build quality is very noticeable.

I'm gonna have to go with the fact of it being DOA and have to wait on a replacement. Thanks for the help guys

The replacement has arrived and it worked!

I used it for about 2 hours after installing all the drivers and then unplugged my computer and left it for about 5 days as i went on holiday

I came back yesterday however and it is suddenly not working. Still powers up like usual but the only video i get is from the motherboard and not the gpu
