A few times recently after my computer shut downs improperly (from either a power loss or from a hard restart from freezing), it will start up with a black screen that says:
"Remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart."
If I click any key, it'll say:
"Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key."
If I click any key, it'll just go back to the first message.

I think this is because it is not seeing my primary HDD (Drive C). I go into bios and it only lists my secondary storage drive (Drive E) as well as the DVD drive. It's like it doesn't even see my primary HDD.

Any thoughts on what might be going on?
After fiddling around and not changing anything, it'll work after awhile. Not sure if there was anything I did besides giving it a chance to try a handful of times.

Any reason after a shut off, it wouldn't see my primarry HDD?
My computer is an ASUS running Windows 10.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.

At the next successful boot look in Reliability History for error codes, warnings, and informational events - look for any signs of problems therein.
