Hey! Today I bought a new gpu and while in the shop I decided to buy new thermal paste as well. After I applied the the thermal paste and installed the gpu I also used compressed air to blow off the dust off my computer. After this I tried to boot up my computer but nothing happened. I thought the problem might be in the installation of the gpu and I replaced it with my old one and it still didnt boot up. So this leaves me wondering if I applied the thermal paste wrong or did I break something while using the compressed air evne tho I used kinda far away and gently. I am not sure but I think the problem is with the thermal paste that I applied. I tried to take off the old thermal paste with paper towel and some of it came off. Could this have damaged my cpu? Or is the old thermal paste under the new one causing the problem? And if so, how do I fix this? Can I take the fan off and remove all of the thermal paste using real methods like with some sort of alcohol I found on google. Thanks I know I am a total idiot when it comes to these things and propably should let someone else do these things.
