Before anyone says anything, I know, I'm a dumbass for doing this. While the computer was on, I plugged in one of the case fan controller pins into the motherboard. As soon as it made contract, the computer shut down. Now it won't turn on again; no beeps or anything. I've tried resetting the CMOS, if that helped, but nothing happened. My specs are:

Gigabyte Z77 D3H LGA 1155
Intel Core i5 3450
Radeon HD3450
Corsair Vengeance RAM (2x4 GB)
Corsair 850 Watt Power Supply
Western Digital 1tb HDD
Samsung 830 128gb SSD

Could I have shorted the motherboard?

Thanks for the video, I just tested it out, and the power supply works. Guess that means the motherboard is shorted?

Unplugged everything but motherboard and cpu power cable, and plugged the cpu fan pin into the motherboard. Started it up, and nothing.

I took the power supply out from my computer, and hooked it up to the problem motherboard. Still nothing. The power supply works fine with no problems, but I guess the motherboard is broken.
