I purchased a power strip and while I was re-arranging the cables to my computer and printer, my computer cable (the end that plugs into the wall) touched a live coax cable that use to run the cable. Why that is still active I do not know. Either way when they touched it sparked and I heard the computer make a power noise that I've never heard before. It smells burnt. Did I fry the whole computer or just the power supply.... Any info would be greatly appreciated!

This:

"touched a live coax cable that use to run the cable (?)". What does the that live coax cable normally connect to?

Was the power strip involved in some way? Some of those are very cheaply made and can be quite dangerous just on their own.

In any case, I am going to add the suggestion that you have your ISP or an electrician check that coax cable.
