You also have to look at the hardware difference. The Samsung Chromebox come with a Celeron B840 which in turn has a Intel HD 2000 GPU, the Mac Mini comes with a i5-2410M with a HD Graphics 3000 GPU. The CPU itself on the Mac Mini according to benchmarks is twice faster than the one on the Samsung Chromebox, then we have a better GPU on the Mac Mini.
