Question Confused Between the role of CPU and GPU while editing in Premiere Pro ?

I would be editing complex mogrt files (motion graphics templates files) in premiere pro and I am confused between the roles of cpu and gpu ? Which of these two would help in the real time playback of that mogrt file ? Which of these two would help in rendering and exporting of that mogrt file? What would be role of both cpu and gpu while editing a mogrt file ? Here is an example of mogrt file that I would be using , it is an Envato Elements mogrt file https://elements.envato.com/paper-rip-transitions-84B6JJH

1) Wen would CPU work - During playback, encoding and decoding or something else

2) Wen would GPU work ?

You could start by opening up the Windows Task Manager app during each process and noting the cpu, memory and gpu usage levels.
