I'm very green when it comes to networking and I wanted to ask if its possible to connect the Intel Express 140T Standalone Hub to a router and make it share that connection with the devices that are also connected to the Hub

Solution
So, I'll just have to buy a switch, connect it to the router and everything i connect to the switch will also be connected to the internet and to each other?

I found that thing in an old dusty box 😀
That is correct. A Hub will send all traffic out of all its ports regardless of intended destination. A switch will learn what ports to send data down instead of flooding all ports. Switches are inexpensive.
What museum did you dig that out of. A actual hub has not been made in many years. If it had been a old switch then you can just hook it to your router and it gives you more ports. A actual HUB will cause massive performance issue in modern networks.

You can get a 8 port 10/100/1000 switch for $20. It depends how many ports you really need.
