I have a Bose Acoustimass 10 III subwoofer, don't know if it's passive or powered, it has an AC plug so I assume it's powered.
I want to connect this to my PC, whose motherboard has a single 3.5 out plug. Is this possible to do without a receiver? On the bottom of the sub, there is an "input" socket that resembles a wider VGA female input, I don't know what this cable is called.
What all will I need to make it work? How can I set up so that my regular speakers still work, but in accordance with the subwoofer?
