Question Connected and able to use the internet on PC, but internet icon says that ethernet has no internet

Hi there, my pc is fully able to access and use the internet no problems, however, the ethernet that i am using for the internet access claims that it has no internet, and constantly shows the yellow triangle symbol above it. How can i fix this, so that it knows that i am in fact connected to the internet? I am not using a wireless adapter or anything else, the ethernet in question is the sole connection to the internet. Any specifics needed please ask.

If you go to "Settings > Network Connections", is Ethernet the only network listed?

In settings on the network and internet status, nothing is shown. when on the ethernet tab, it only shows the ethernet (no internet)

2. If you click on the yellow warning sign above "Ethernet", what does it say?

There are no yellow warning signs in device manager. And the yellow warning for ethernet only shows on the lock screen, so i cannot directly click it. it just tells me there is no internet, despite there actually being internet for me to be able to write this post on the same pc.
