connecting 2 pcs

I have 2 pcs, one with XP and one with w98. I want to transfer all
my w98 files to the new machine. Is there a way to connect
them with serial cable and do the xfer? They are stand alone now,
not networked. How would I do that?

One way is to temporarily connect the W98 drive as a slave in the XP
machine.. that will save you the time and expense of learning about basic
networking..
