I have corsair 460x rgb case and the stock sp120 fans connected to a fan hub and then the button control, Can I connect the hub directly to a 12V 4 Pin RGB huib on my z270 Rog Strix G Gaming mobo and sue iCUE to control the lighting Because I am unable to turn off the lighting when I need to its always on.

Solution
There are many lighting solutions and it seems more every day.
You can find fans that plug direct to the 5v or 12v system, everyone has their own controllers as well.
I suggest alot of reading first just to determine the direction you're headed. In my case i bought 3 fans only to find out I needed a controller.

The above switch will work if your contrller is powered by sata power.

No, It looks like the case has it's own RGB controller (using PB's)
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/rgbfans
You can add lighting pro node and then use Icue to control.
So are you saying the buttons will never cycle to all off?
You can buy a Sata power switch and disable power to this controller.
Is there any cheaper alternative?
For MSI board they have jcorsair connector but mine is asus
And can you please share me link of what a Sata switch is I don’t know a lot about computers and accessories
And ask it lighting node pro or commander pro those things costs too much for that price in India I can buy a new case with fans and controllers
But now stuck with this setup is there any cheaper alternative to connect the Corsair RGB hub to the motherboard

and some more thing is the lighting node “core” cheaper will I be able to buy that online?

Thank you for sharing but that can solve this me of my problem which is turning on and off the lights when I sleep
But then I will loose the control over RGB and also not sure this Corsair proprietor RGB connecto could connect to that Sata controller

is there any way to purchase ONLY the Corsair lighting “Core” or any way to connect the Corsair RGB Hub to the motherboard?

I have a H100i v2 so Im able to turn that off but I need to find a cheap alternative to connect the RGB Hub to the motherboard I can't spend 8000-10000 INR to buy Node or commander pro for that amount i could buy new fans and case
