Wow, alright this is supposed to be real simple, but I just can't seem to find how it actually works.
The situation goes like this: I got a corsair sp 120 rgb fan that obviously needs a rgb hub in order to power it and so I got the hub, plugged the fan in, plugged the power of the hub, it's just that the hub came with neither cables nor manual, just the sata female power connector. [the fan works perfectly, just doesn't light up]
Here I have a question:
What does have to happen for the fan's rgb to work - without buying node pro or commander pro?(I have a msi b450 mobo with 2 jRGB 12v headers)
Why can't it power the rgb of the fan from just being connected to a Sata?
My options are:
-an extension from jRGB
-a fan speed regulator from corsair, that enables the hub to work(it was in the manual here)
-sorry for the stupidity of the situation, I could've probably avoided all this, had I done my research...
Anyways thank you for reading this and have a great day/night!
