So it has a 6 pin connector and an 8 pin connector.

Does the PCI express (6 pin connector) cable with 2 extra pins go into the hole of 8?

And which cable from the Power Supply goes into the 6 pin connector? 😵

Hi

You need a 6 pin and a 8 pin, the 8 pin may be a 6+2 like you mentioned.

So you need to connect the 6+2 into the 8 pin socket and you then need an additional 6 pin cable.

If your Power supply doesn't have an extra 6 pin cable you will need a molex to 6 pin adapter which may have come with the graphics card as part of the accessories.

Just a warning: if your power supply doesn't have the correct cables it may not be powerful enough for your graphics card, do you know which make and model the power supply is?

Corsair 650W TX V2

It has a 6 and 2 cable (which I put in the 8 slot)

It has another 6 and 2 cable (which I put in the 6 slot)

Does it matter if I don't do anything with the 2 left over? Or is it not supposed to be like that?

Additionally, would you be able to tell me where all the other cables go? xD

I have no clue, everything is installed.

You've done it right :)

Just leave the extra 2 pins dangling down

Yeah 😀

Well 24 pin is in.

How severe to airflow is it if my Graphics card wires are like this?

The thing is, the two 6+2 pin connectors can't really go to the right side of my case (which is behind my motherboard) so what do you suggest I do? I just run them (currently) from my PSU to the 670

Can you do it like this, see the red arrows, So the cables go behind the mobo tray and come back out in the gap between the mobo tray and 5.25" drive bay cage?

If not then its not a big deal, just a suggestion if you have enough space behind the mobo tray

Heh, I was actually thinking about that. But then I thought 'meh it won't make any difference'
I will do it. How the hell do I disconnect the PCI express cables?

They're stiff as hell... xD
+ Nice diagram.

Any cables that you don't need try and cable tie them together and leave them next to the power supply, or you could try and cable tie them to the back of the mobo tray if there is enough room.

Cable management is a pain, but is alot easier if you plan out where each cable goes and the best route.

omgitzfatal dont give some advise he know nothing unless he will damage the inside part let them free with his no cable management because he just want to run system
