I'm sure this question has been asked a million times on here but I am curious as to if a monitor is better for gaming than a TV, and I am talking about a visual standpoint? Currently I have my ps4 connected to a 65 inch 4k tv and I'm just not that happy with my ps4 display. I know it's nother outputting 4k but it doesn't even look 1080p in my opinion. Maybe my TV settings are off. But anyways I know some people really like to console game on a monitor because it's the colors and response time are better. Is this true? I'm thinking about getting a monitor such as the BenQ RL2455HM. Am I going to see a noticeable difference and is it worth it? I'm always depressed watching game play on YouTube or something and the graphics are so much better than what I'm getting on my tv.

It's several years old now and not sure the exact model or anything but it was a $40 - $50 monster cable if that means anything. Also I do have the PS4 going to a receiver/ surround sound before going to the tv but from what I've been told that shouldn't make a difference. Would you agree?
