My PC:
MBO: B450m Gigabyte Gaming
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
GPU: MSI RTX 3060 ( Undervolt Max: 140w)
NVME: Kingston 500gb
HDD 1TB 7.5 rpm
SSD: 240gb SATA
Cooler: PC yes Notus B 180w
PSU: MSI MAG A650BN 650w 80plus bronze

My Ryzen 5600 arrived a few days ago, I went to do some tests with cpuz and Cinebench R23
I noticed that with everything in stock it uses a maximum of 78w.
Activating PBO the in cinebench it get to 130w and 90w in games

These were my results:

My question, is it normal Ryzen 5600 to use 130w?

It's normal at stock the cpu be using 78w?

It is with PBO enabled. PBO is an automatic overclocking feature so yes, it is going to use considerably more power than at the stock configuration. at stock, it's a 65w chip but 78w is not outside the range of boost behavior or range of error with measurements.

Thanks I was a bit worried. I had a 3600 before and when the PBO was enabled, I would get was 100w
