Not I, I dug through my kids treat buckets from halloween and could only come up with a tablespoon of candy corn. So I figured the volume, then converted it to cubic units (by Tablespoon) which = 5745.038961038961 x's the number of candy corns per tablespoon = my submitted answer. Taking into account that my kids received el-cheapo nasty candy corn which are bigger/fatter than delectable Jelly Belly Candy Corn(s). LOL, can't wait to see who actually won this.

[citation][nom]papasmurf[/nom]hahah none of you know how to do math, I think I win hahaha loosers I hope I get the candy toooo[/citation]

Hey Smurfy, you might be good at math but your spelling is atrocious. If you want to insult people you might want to spell LOSER correctly.

Will the correct answer be posted here? As well as the winner? What happens with multiple correct answers? What if multiple people are the same number away from correct, some higher, some lower? I didn't see anywhere it saying closest without going over.

I'd be interesting in finding out the actual answer too. As far as ties go, the rules state that the winner will be randomly chosen from those entries that are tied.

It's becoming rather annoying that the result isn't being posted. I imagine the website is trying to contact the winner who is not responding in the 3 day window that the rules specify. All we can do is wait, which is no fun.

I know they will try to call you, but do you think they will send an e-mail also?

Even if they haven't been able to contact the winner yet, they should post the candy count and satisfy our curiosities.

To satisfy a bit of curiosity, there were 50,712 candy corns in the case. We asked that Corsair wait until after the contest closed to report the number to us. We received that report this morning (11/9)

I know you all want to know who won. That takes a little time. We have chosen a list of potential winners, based on their guesses and how close they were to the actual number of candy corns reported by Corsair.

Now we have to contact the closest guesser and have that person fill in a couple of forms. Once we have those back, we can move on to selecting the three runner up winners. Each of them has to fill in the forms. When we have their forms back, we can announce the winners. If we can't reach a potential winner in 3 days or they don't send their forms back, we move on down the list of potential winners to attempt to find a winner. It's complicated, but we have to honor the law both to protect the winners and Bestofmedia.

I came pretty close (50650) using one pound bag of Jelly Belly Candy Corn (340 pieces/500ml)to make my guestimate. I hope I don't get beat out by someone who entered a bunch of times.
