Question Converting L & R RCA outputs to 1 mono RCA input

Good day
i want to get a new amplifier and buy a subwoofer the problem is that the amplifier i want to get has no
LFE (subwoofer out ) and im thinking of using the line out of the amplifier but the subwoofer im trying to get has only 1 RCA input for LFE .

Without further explanation, just use either one channel to send signal to sub.

No you cannot use simple Y-cable to merge 2 channels into one, if you insist doing this you need a mixer, but I would just do paragraph 1.
