converting mbr to gpt

Hi there basically what my issue is, is that I have copied a file onto my 8gb usb drive and I need to use it to install a new osx on my mac pro, however it wont allow me too as it's not in Guid mode, I was wondering if anyone knew of any converters of ways around this?

Hi there thank you for your response. This isn't for me as I don't havbe the bootable install disk available. So need a way to convert the partition.
