So I'll make this simple;

I've got a hard drive with a windows installation, and I'm trying to upgrade to an SSD. I cloned the hard drive to the SSD using Macrium Reflect, and when I try booting from the SSD it shows the windows logo for a moment like it's going to work, but then just stops on a black screen. What am I doing wrong?

Immediately after you clone I would power down and remove the HDD before I rebooted. Did you do this?

Edit: Also after you restart, go to BIOS and check to see first if the SSD is recognized and then to see it's at the top of the boot order.
