Will a coolermaster extreme 550w... run a 2g 6970 with any probs?

i have a dual core amd 2 x 64 ... 6000+
1 sata and 1 ide storage
basic dvd

alright sweet... i was just going to see if i could temporily get a card until i have enough saved up... i'll have about 700-800 saved up...

i have a computer package already in mind which will i'll need 1600 roughly

Corsair THX 750
i7-2500k or 2600k
8gig of ddr3 ram
blu-ray player
1T seagate sata 3
ssd drive for OS
2x 6950's maybe 6970's
haf-932 case
Asrock gen 3 pro fality motherboard z68.
I was gonna go Noctua cpu cooler but going to hyper 212+
cuz i want to use ram cooler... but thats if i go 16 gig ram instead of 8

i need to make sure the mobo doesnt go sluggish with more than 2 channels of ram tho.

to be honest 16gb ram is overkill for gaming, 8gb is plenty and is futureproof.

I cant recommend upgrading to Radeon 6970 with such a low end CPU. It would be a big money waste to upgrade to such a high end card. With that CPU You will face MASSIVE CPU bottleneking. Instead upgrade the CPU then use a radeon 6790, 6850,6870 etx on that configuration
