Cooler master gm550 with 1080ti?

I have a cooler master GM550 and I want a new GPU. thinking about the GTX 1080TI from Gigabyte but I don't know if i have enough power for it.
(with amd ryzen 2700x)
nothing is OC-ed

That psu doesn't exist. You sure you got the name right?

How long have you had this psu? It's quite old.

Almost 2 years now, why? Will it work with the 1080Ti or do I need to upgrade my PSU for it?

It should work but to play it safe I do highly recommend you get something like a seasonic focus+ gold 550W or more psu. The gm g series isn't a bad series but also not great and from what I've found is that the psu started acting up with more powerhungry systems after a bit.

Really need a min of a 650W PSU for a GTX 1080Ti.

Also the PSU has to have 2 separate PCIe cables for the power connections as the GTX 1080Ti can pull well over 300W.
