Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower Case

Would this case be able to support an i5 with anything up to a 5870, (not a 5970), or would I have to get a full tower?

It will support a 5870 dual GPU setup without issues.

That mid tower case will be plenty of room for your setup unless your planning on haveing a massive raid array with a bunch of hard drives a mid tower is plenty of room.
