Ho hum. More over-priced nothing-special from Coolermaster. There is always a better choice, always; especially for the same or less money. Friends don't let friends buy Coolermaster (unless they have no other choice).
Looking at fan RPM, I'd rather buy a Gammax and put a different fan on it. It will still cost less, and I can't imagine it wouldn't make up that little 1C (and then some).

^That. CM apparently is not serious about targeting the low and mid tier air cooler market segments. Either that or they have not checked their competition very well. I know Cryorig coolers are not available in all nations and supplies may be limited due to such strong demand, but come on. Here's what $47(US) can buy you with their H5: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF30R0134

In any event, it's nice to see that cooling companies are continuing to create new products and send them to Tom's for review.

It fits AMD's rectangular mounting pattern. Does AM4 have that?

Massive oversight, comparing only to Shadow Rock and Gammaxx 400. No Evo 212? Its like the reviewer purposefully went the other way, while knowing that the readers will want something else. Now, I have to go over to Frostytech and see the real comparison.

Did you read before commenting? No. G'day.

I guess I will be the first to point out that the MasterAir Pro 3 is using the MasterFan Pro Air Pressure while the MasterAir Pro 4 is using the MasterFan Pro Air Balance.
I do wonder if that is contributing to some of the issue and if they Pro 3 would perform better with an Air Balance style fan. With it not being a radiator and not requiring as much pressure it would probably be better suited with an Air Balance style fan.
Cooler Master is sending me a MasterAir Pro 4 that I will be doing a review on & I will be comparing the MasterFan Pro A.B. vs the older JetFlo style fan. - See Tefen's Tech on Facebook or Youtube for the review in the next week or two.
