The bad thing is the blower will scream while keeping the card cool. The good thing is that screaming loud blower exhausts the GPU's hot air directly out of the case so at least it will not add to the heat load on CPU cooling.
But whether it's all good or not assumes the case allows enough air in so the case fans won't be sucking on a vacuum instead of drawing cool intake air up to the CPU so it's HSF can do it's job.
I didn't watch that whole video linked above, but Steve usually provides some suggestions for mods to products he scorches for bad design. If he did for that case I'd pay attention.
And I kind of disagree with it being 'last gen' tech. HBM really is future gen from the sounds of it, just expensive. AMD had to go with it for the older GPU's until Navi was ready... I kind of wonder what HBM on Navi would be like.
