cooling a q6600

OCing the Q6600 will always be a better idea than buying a new chip considering the gains.

A 2.66 GHz 45nm Penryn still wont' touch a 3.2 GHz Q6600.
 
This was a long thread, so forgive me if this was already said. I have an 8800 GT base model from EVGA running at 675 core. All you have to do to keep your temperatures under control is set the fan speed to 60%. Never had any heat issues. Played Crysis at 16x10 for 6+ hours, CoD4 for God knows how long per day, and BioShock beautifully.
