I am finally upgrading my PC and am getting an i7-9700k which I may want to overclock and my case runs a little hot regardless. I need help selecting a sufficient fan without getting to overkill. Unfortunately, all my research keeps pointing me towards Noctua but ill be damned if I have to look at that brown mess everyday. My main concerns are that it is quiet and can sufficiently cool and overclocked i7-9700k. I know that case dimensions can be limiting and am working on getting those but any suggestions would be much appreciated!

UPDATE: I can fit up to 161mm cooler.

Are you certain on air cooling? I have a 9700k @5.0 but I use the NZXT kraken x62 aio, which I would recommend, given its only a slight premium compared the the level of air cooling you need, and since you care about aesthetics, the liquid cooler looks great compared to any air cooler imo

I was thinking about liquid cooling but it seems like its gonna cost me more money, and can be very power demanding which might mean I'd have to purchase a new power supply because I have a 750W now.

I don't think you would even need a 750W tbh, that will be more than enough, this is my current rig and I only have a 650W:

CPU: Intel - Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: NZXT - Kraken X62 Rev 2 98.17 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI - Z390-A PRO ATX LGA1151
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Video Card: MSI - GeForce RTX 2070 Armor 8GB
Case: NZXT - H500i (Black/Blue) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - TXM Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

It is slightly more expensive to do liquid cooling, but I personally think the benefits are worth it, especially since you're planning to OC. If you really want to go for air though, this would be an alternitave to the noctua and their poo colored fan: https://www.amazon.com/quiet-BK019-Dark-Rock-Pro/dp/B00HPX7J4K/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=cpu+cooler&qid=1554417614&refinements=p_89:be+quiet!&rnid=2528832011&s=gateway&sr=8-1
