Hi Guys,

My PC Specs are theses.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)
System Model: WBIBX10J

BOARD: DP55WB

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
POWER: 550W ZEBSE500P
Memory: 6144MB RAM
HD 5850 Sapphire.

My PC was running fine until the BSOD starts appearing frequently. So i came here,Lots of posts suggested cleaning RAM n all, SO i cleaned it, My PC starts overheating after that. i Even put the new GEl on processor fan but same result.

I cant play 2 HD files together it lags n shut down overheating ,same with games.Earlier games which i used to play on Full ,Now lags like buffering a video on internet.
i M thinking of buying a new fan for processor. Please Suggest .

Sorry i m not that much enlighten in these things ,Hence i request your immediate suggestions for this issue,Willa new fan help me or i need to do something more ?
Thanks

first go and download a temp monitor like hwmonitor and a load inducer just google max cpu, then run hw monitor and run max cpu and see how high your temps go, if it goes above 80-90 then take of the heat sink from the cpu clean it PROPERLY and also clean the cpu with a tissue do not use a wet cloth, then put some proper conductive paste (Thermal Grease) on but only a very little bit, then make shure its nice and tight, so the same test again and if its not your cpu overheating it might be the graphics card you should be able to see in hw monitor, if so do the same process on the gpu

@dillondeysel23 thanks for the immediate response.

I did as u asked. u said the temp ranges on 80-90

In the hwinfo prog, My all 4 CPU cores are already running on ranges 87-91 before inducing the load, The Graphics card is running on 91 and the GPU at 48 .

After running the load The CPU cores are fluctuating at 91-98 and the Graphics card and GPU remained the same.

Any hints now ?

that is way to hot you are soon going to do damage, first thing you could do is clean it and re apply some thermal grease its a must, and then pm me a screen shot of hardware monitor because the graphics card is the gpu and it should not be running at 91 I think you have the name for it in hwmonitor confused

Tell me if u can see it , Sorry m new to this ,If not Please Advise.

ok so i disabled it, cpu fan control.

My graphics card temp run down to 77 and gpu core at 44
But my cpu cores temp spiked to ranges from 91-99

what now ?

yes you see now that is better and with a standard cooler that's just fine but now what you can do is buy an after marker cooler, I have a cooler master v6 GT and my temps never exceed 40 and I run only one fan on it at its lowest speed but you do get cheaper alternatives I'll be happy to advise you on some should you want better cooling and longer cpu life

Thanks a ton man, U r a lifesaver. and yeah i do want some help with my PC.U see i was able to run various new games on high settings, but now i just got AC Unity. Default graphics is set on high ,But my PC is lagging ,I think its graphics issue. Now u have insight on my processor and motherboard. What other graphics can u suggest less that 200$ that will help me run games smoothly. ?
Thanks.
