Cooling pad for hard drives?

Wondering if there is a pad that is heat conductive that is flexible and can be mounted against the underside (the circuit board side) of a hard drive (where most of the heat dissipates). Sort of a heat conductive rubber I guess. The other side of the pad could be against a heatsink of some sort or even better, water cooled.

there isnt much point of watercooling your hard drives as they dot kick out a lot of heat nowadays. in contrast, it might even heat up your drive. as far as i kow there isnt a product like how you described

What you might be thinking of are "thermal pads", the largest one I found was here (at 12x12 would fit most mobos or anything else)

At $80 just for the thermal pad and the cost of the waterblock, I see it being an expensive project. Something to note about thermal pads, they are more than willing to tell you about heat conductivity but do not mention electrical conductivity at all (so I honestly don't know if the attempt would short the HHD if against circuits).

Might not be that expensive but as already pointed out, HDD's don't run too hot.

Likely better off just running a fan over your hard drive cage...this is one the best and most effective ways of cooling HDDs.

Its not necessary to have cooling for your hard drive. It highly unlikely for your hdd to overheat.
