Question Cooling required for 7900x?

Hi,

I've got an AMD 7900x which I plan to use for offloading a bunch of computational task which normally run overnight. I'm not interested in overclocking, gaming, or having to setup a cooling system for it. I did buy a Noctua NH-U12S and after reading a few posts, I'm starting to question if this cooler is enough. My hope is that by not overclocking it, I'm extending the life span.

Can anyone speak to the type of cooling required?

And sorry for posting in wrong channel, I just noticed this and haven't figured out how to delete or move.

It can make do with cooler. It's roughly a 175 w but can use 230w if the cooling is sufficient. If you want the most performance, water is the way.....

Noctua makes a bigger cooler

I would get one of the larger air coolers if it was me. (actually that is what I'm doing on my 7900x build later this week)
