So, what is the problem?
My GPU is goes to temperatures of 94 degrees and I need to bring that down. That is caused by poor air circulation. Any ideas how to improve it?
My temporary solution is to have my tower horizontally with case open and that drops the temperature down to 80 degrees. But obviously I will have issues with noise and dust.
What do I have:
MSI r9 390x
Mid-tower
One system fan visible in the picture
I really dont care about the looks of the tower, so I can punch some holes in a tower if needed
My tower
I cant put fans in lower front because i got the audio/usb board, I could try showing something up in floppy slot, but I cant seem to find any fan. And all DVD player section is free, but that would be a long way for air to reach the down the GPU.
I just recently upgraded my PC and tried keeping the costs down by reusing seemingly okay mid-tower case, PSU and HDDs, but by the looks it seems I will have to buy a full tower unless something will suggest creative solutions.
