Question Copy as Path Error

My "Copy as Path" shortcut that appears when I right-click on a file or folder in Windows Explorer no longer works. I get the following error message every time. Please help me correct this error and thanks in advance. Here's the error message:

"This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page."

I did add it through the registry and it was working perfectly. I didn't use any third-party software. The feature no longer works.

Did it disappear after an Windows update?

Have you check if the registry change is still there? Or is it being reset?

Copy as Path
Paste into Notepad or similar.

Doing that gives me the exact same error message that I get through the registry shortcut.

Have you check if the registry change is still there? Or is it being reset?

I tried removing the registry key and the problem still exists.
