Question Copying ps4 hdd

Unfortunately my playstation 4 (12 cuh) sort of broke, it has the blue flikkering light illness. Ive tried many different things but i cant even boot into safe mode. Since safe mode wont even open i think that the problem has to do with the hdd.
now im not sure if i have backups of the ps4 data, and im afraid to lose it.

so my idea was to clone the data of the failing hdd to a good one and then instal that one back into the ps4. I seen some people try it with mixed results, what is my best option here?
can i still save my data? (I have a disc rdr2 save file of +200 hours on it)

i have used other software from this company with good results. this says it does exactly what you are asking. hook up the ps4 drive to your pc, and this will back up and then restore the data to another drive.

keep in mind though that if the drive is messing up, it may not copy all the data and corruption can happen.

Cloning a failed/failing drive may just copy bad data to the new drive, if it completes at all.

But, HDDSuperClone may do the trick.

I like ddrescue. They actually have a version with a gui if you get parted magic. You can set it to try to copy a drive and skip sectors it can’t read.
