Core i 5 2300 Unlocked ! Overclock Over 4 Ghz ?

Hello, I hope you guys could help me -

I made this rig with a lot of research and quite frankly this is all i came up with on my budget and with my available resources.

Meaning, I live in the developing world and not even in a major city.
everything i get; i gotta pay at least 20% more for it. 20 to 30% more then the US $ value of our currency : (

So, anyway this is what i came up with:

Intel core i 5 2300
Gigabyte P67A-UD3R


Sapphire 6870 Toxic edition
Gigabyte 80+ 610W Always 720W MAX PSU

Thermaltake Frio CPU cooler
Tt Armor A60 mid-tower case

I tried to get the 2500K with UD4 mainboard but neither is going to available for at least 6 months, if ever.
So i bought what i could, No Overclocking on the core i 5 2300 even with the P67 chipset. Right ?

But I was in for a surprise with my new Rig, It's all unlocked ! ! ! Everything the Base Clock [100 - to - 200 Mhz], Multiplier [16 - to - 35] Vcore voltages e.t.c.

I think i don't have to buy a 2500K when & if it gets available on my place !

So, my point is do you know anyone who has this spec and overclocked over 4GHz ?

Any help / guide / tips you can give + direct me to . . . That would be great : )

P.S. I am a mild overclocker and do have some OC experience with my old Core 2 Duo.
I did go to the extreme OC level with the old system and it was stable with prime95
I never keep extreme OC Settings long-term, I am one of the people who loves the fun of the extreme overclocking but prefers the reliability of mild OC system : )

You can put the multiplier up to 35x too.

Exactly any CPU with no K on the end is locked. 16-35 only means you can run it slower then stock. 35 is the highest it can go stock. Your only option is 100-107 bclck, which will get you no where near 4.0

Expect 3.7 max.

I would be happy to order you a 2500k from USA and ship it to you if you pay all fees.

LGA 1155 started with a rocky start, so i can't just sell my 2300.
I love the mobo but it's sata ports are a pain in the ass if you want crossfire.

I already have a Eyefinity 3 setup, toxic performing better then expected thanks to TriXX.
it's at 1024Mhz and DDR5 RAM at 1150Mhz with just 5% v increase.

I already got to 3.55GHz 104.5 x 34 on stock voltages.
Temps are at 57C on max load Prime95 26.11 [ Thermaltake Armor A60 with Frio cooler ]
Idle are at 32C

So my point is, if i get the chance i well sell this mobo and 2300 for a bargain price and get the new upcoming chipset with i7 2600K if that happens i might have to cut back on my crossfire a little, at least for now : )

Again, thanks it's very hard to find anyone who appreciates my passion from here. I guess i am at the right place 😀
