Hello everyone this is my first time building a Desktop PC today that i will be ordering from http://pcpartpicker.com/list/N4KrM8

I plan on upgrading the PSU first and the graphics card.
What are your thoughts on the chosen one i selected?
I didn't know exactly how much wattage i needed enough to power every component inside but hopefully it was a wise choice.
Also Will an i3 be okay for this and will i have to upgrade to maybe an i5 if i pan to upgrade GPU later on?
It's the GHZ that matters right correct me if I'm wrong? I apologize i am new to all this. 3.9 is good enough for most graphics cards correct?

My budget is under 500$ but if i could get something for 400$ now and upgrade it later it would be great.

I know every component has to be compatible with each other but at times it got confusing to me watching videos and researching online. If someone could help me build a proper gaming PC with compatible components I'd greatly appreciate it. I hope I didn't do too bad for my first time, I just want to make sure I'm doing this the right way. Thank-you.

It meets my budget but i know what you mean. SSD is a lot faster and cheaper now a days I've been told.. but for now a 250 GB HDD for 20$ should be fine. I'm more worried about compatibility as i can always upgrade later down the road. If this isn't a good build, (which i wouldn't doubt it's my first time) could you link me to one that is under 500$ with all compatible components?

Honestly Im that used to people dropping 1 tb WD blue drives into builds I never even saw the 259gb hard drive.
Absolutely agree with superninja here , that 250gb drive isn't cost effective at all mate.
An ssd isn't a necessity bit at least drop a drive in there that's big enough to start with.
A 1tb will cost a little over twice as much for 4x more storage.

This is perfect! I will go with this build instead. My apologies for my misunderstanding. I am going to remove the the optical drive and install from usb instead. Overall, I believe this is perfect for me with the PSU, Case, GPU, CPU, MOB, and RAM & storage. This meets my requirements for a great starting gaming Desktop. Thanks and I really appreciate the help. Anything else you can tell me or am i all set? :)

youre all set mate really, not much to say.
the prices have changed now on partpicker for those components though

this is now a better buy than the powercolor 460 & probably a slightly better card too

I thought you might not be keen on the n200 case in all honesty - people find it a bit bland - the thing is though its a damn good case with 2 really good preinstalled fans.

For my first build this case is fine, I'm not too worried about how it looks just as long as it's good and works. Thankyou :) Also I'll go with the gpu that you have suggested, Radeon Rx 460 2GB OC. I am loving the way this build is looking.. especially now with that GPU. price is good. Thanks for the help, I found it very useful and I can't wait to build it and become more experienced :)
