[SOLVED] Core i7 11900K cost?

Solution
I think its going be alot more then $350. More in the $400-$500 range but we have to wait and see.
I don't think so.
Intel have been dominating the low end, with their i3 lineup going for 75-90$, and beating/meeting the 100$/120$+ ryzen 3's.
seeing this domination in a market will make intel want to do the same in other places.

If they don't have the multicore perf, they can't control the high end, but if they lower prices, maybe they could hit AMD hard in their mid end, which used to be their strong point, but with ryzen 5000, and the price increases, is not really the case anymore.

Intel cannot have an 8 core for more than 450, but with how AMD abandoned the 350-400$ range (no 5700X, only 5800X) we can expect them to put...

If intel's numbers are correct it won't be worth it as it claims 4% higher than amd and amd have not yet released there new cpu's that should be middle to end of year. For us intel are very expensive. The 10900k are more than the 5900x of amd.Idk but that's messed up.It's only the 10900k that's very high. The 10700k and the 10600k are at a reasonable price.

The i9 cannot compete with the 5900X so at worse, it will be 500$, but I believe it will be around 430$, just undercutting AMD, with the i7 coming in at 350-375$.

With the amount of demand there is for CPUs there is no reason for any company to lower prices, it's not like a customer can go to a third seller.
There isn't even a base to do a price war, the only result for either company would be lower profit, that doesn't make any sense.
