Hello,
I'd like to mention, I'm fairly amateur with computers...
I noticed my computer was starting to run rather sluggish after repositioning it and leaving it in this new location for a few days. I moved it from on top of my Desk, to below it. When trying to open new applications or browse "File Explorer", I noticed a significant delay and it only appeared to worsen as time went on.
I run a:
Intel Core i7-3770
16GB RAM
EVGA Nvidia GTX770 Classified
ASUS P8Z77-v LK (Mobo)
Corsair TX850M PSU
Western Digital (Black) Hard drive
I was using the NZXT Havik 140 CPU Cooler, up until today...

I have now switched to the Corsair H80i Liquid Cooler...
Every now and again, I check the temps of my Rig with Open Hardware Monitor. However, it had been awhile since I last checked... My computer, starting to run sluggish, got me curious... I opened it up and saw "Temperatures - CPU Core" and under, it had #1-6 Temperatures. I was alarmed to see one of the temps hanging out at 104 Deg C(#5) I also noticed 92 Deg C on #3.
I should have paid more attention. I thought I was looking at my Intel Core Temperatures. I even remember asking myself if I was looking at the right Temps. I some how felt convinced I was, but probably wasn't now looking back. Regardless, I was alarmed to see such a high temperature and immediately assumed my computer slowing down may have been a result of the temperature. I didn't feel like chancing it and leaving my computer running to allow more damage to it as a result, so I powered it down.
I had been wanting to get liquid cooling in to my Rig at one point or another and figured, if I was going to take my Heat Sync off and re-seat the CPU fan, what better time to do it than now? Cleaning up the Thermal Paste =/= fun.
After a fun filled day of messing around with my Computer, I've finally got the new cooler in and the computer all booted up. Sadly, this is where I noticed my error. I did not resolve the problem. So far, my computer isn't running too sluggish, which is nice. However, I'm still seeing this High temperature and it is attached to the "Nuvoton NCT6779D" a part of the Motherboard. No idea what this reading is even for, or how dangerous these temperatures really are... Another curiosity is one of the temperatures being -23 Deg C... That's pretty Chilly...
*** Does anyone know the significance of these values? Should I be concerned? Is this an error I am seeing? If a Firmware update is required, any suggestions on which update I should be selecting? **** I had already tried the Intel Management Engine (ME).
Also, jumping back on to the new cooling system I have set up. I feel like these temperatures are a bit higher than the results I used to get with the NZXT... And the temperatures fluctuate a lot, and frequently. One moment one of the Intel Cores is 38 Deg C, the next it jumps to 54 Deg C. All 4 Cores seem to be jumping around like this, and all I'm running is Firefox... Should I be concerned with these fluctuations? I've never used Liquid Cooling, and I'm hoping that it is seated correctly on the Chip.
tl;dr
Should I be concerned about these Temperatures that I have circled in the image...
I was seeing them at 104 and 92 Deg C the other day.
