Question about wiring my MSI 980 to my EVGA G2 850w power supply.
Image 1 is how my gpu is wired to the psu. Two separate 8 pin cable connectors using gpu1 and gpu2 slots on the power supply.
Is this the correct way to hook this up? its been about 4 days and no issues.

Or do I do it like this?
Image 2 and 3 is the 6 and 8 pin connector cable that is a single cable.
Do i use this as well with the 6/8 pin cable? Image 4, 5 and 6 gpu provided cable from MSI 6 pin at one end 8 pin at the other.

image 1 is fine, but overkill. and if you ever add a second card, you'll have to unplug shit and do image 2/3 anyways.
image 2/3 is what i would do - the single main cable that then splits right at the graphics card.
i would keep the image 4/5/6 adapters as spare parts, in the box.

Its not going to ruin anything or impact performance?
