Corrupt files?

how to fix xp pro sp3 corrupt files ,i do have a O.E.M xp home disk ,can i get the files from that ?

First tyr to go to a command prompt and type chkdsk /f <enter>
That should fix many things.
If not
Does the OEM disk have SP 1 or 2 on it?
Most likely you will have to uninstall SP3 then fix whatever is wrong and then reapply SP3.
Also you could consider not using SP3. Many people still have problems with it.
