Corsair custom cables gen3 and HXi

Hello. Can someone tell me will Corsair Custom Cables fit my HXi? On Corsair site it said Compatibility RMi series, RMx series, SF Series, Corsair Type 4 PSU. I bought it because there was no discription on site 🙁 and now i am afraid that it won't fit but may be i am not right...

I am not good is PSUs but if i understood right Type 3 and Type 4 and interchangible expect 24-pin cable.

No I don't believe so, looks like the HXi uses type 3 pinout cables, the cables you linked are type 4.

i found that article, it's said that they have same pin-out so why is it incompatible?

voltages over the wires are different.

So the interesting thing that from corsair support and johnnyguru forums I found that type 4 and type 3 interchangeable except ATX 24pin cable.

Corsair support answer : "You could actually use the type 4 cable on your HX1200i without problem."
